Vernon Haskie is a Navajo jeweler from Lukachukai, Arizona who learned basic silver-smithing from his Father, Leonard Haskie and made his first pendant when he was nine years old in the 1970s. Vernon taught himself how to set and inlay precious and semi-precious stones as well as work with gold and silver together.

Vernon has won several awards and has been featured in prestigious galleries and museums in Arizona and New Mexico. Vernon's inspirations include the culture of his own people as well as the landscape of the Navajoland and the Lukachukai Mountains.
